8/29/2023 0 Comments Jack lingo pet friendly rentals![]() ![]() To be treated like criminals and be put on a "do not rent" list like we were complete animals and trashed the place is very far from the truth and highly offensive. ![]() They acted like our dog ran around and ripped apart furniture and destroyed the whole house. But we also made the point that they already charge a pet fee, a cleaning fee and we even purchased insurance. The main issue is that if we were contacted after leaving, we would have been very apologetic and willing to pay for any extra cleaning. Even if our dog did have an accident and we just didn't was a MISTAKE! We had no idea there was an issue until a year later! They told us that they don't have a policy for letting people know when they are being put on the "do not rent" list. We even have a dog camera to keep an eye on him while we are out. After some more questioning, we were told that there was a dog urine stain in the closet and apparently the owner accused us of keeping our dog in the closet while we were out, which is absolutely outrageous! Our dog literally lays in the same spot until we come home. I remember first walking in and thinking it smelled like a dog but didn't think anything of it because it was "PET-FRIENDLY". While trying to book a place this year, we were beyond shocked to find out that we were put on a "DO NOT RENT" list! We were told that the cleaning crew had to stay an extra 45 mins to clean and that there was a "dog smell" in the whole place. Before we left, we did light cleaning, vacuuming, and everything else that they requested to be done before departure. We stayed at a "pet-friendly" place and everything seemed to go well, besides one interaction with a rude employee. It was a family vacation with our 1-year old son, my parents, brother, and our 4-year-old golden retriever. My family and I stayed at one of their properties in Rehoboth last year. Please contact me to discuss this further as we do not want to be charged twice. Please be sure not to let them get away with this kind of fraudulent activity. This activity should not be allowed in DE or America. The lease has no room for disputes and waives our right to dispute even if the property is not acceptable. We entered into this lease in good faith. Jack Lingo should not be charging us for two properties during the same period of time. We can only stay in one house at a time during the same period of time, not two. Needless to say, we were very surprised to see the double charges on our account for both houses. This house was acceptable and we stayed for 1 week. ![]() On Septemafter one disgusting night, we rented another house from Jack Lingo for $6000.00 in the same area that was really too big but it was the only other house they had available for this week. The property advertised was clean and new looking, when we arrived, it was disgusting. Please understand that we have stayed in many properties in this area over the years and never seen anything like this property, especially at this price range. We could not stay in this property as it was really disgusting and not well maintained and again very small and tiny. Please see the pictures of some areas of the property below. When we arrived on September 10, 2022, we instantly found the property to be un-clean and too small for adults since the ceilings were very low. It was just the two of us as well as our 19 year old son coming to stay. Your open living room extends to your kitchen/dining area that features a large kitchen island with plenty of cabinets, dishwasher, disposal, stainless steel farm sink, a 5 burner gas stove, built-in microwave with vented hood, and a side-by-side refrigerator with water & ice.On Augmy wife and I entered into a leasing contract for a 1 week rental with a property managed by Jack Lingo Inc in the amount of $4,190.60 in the off season in Rehoboth Beach, DE. The first floors includes a lovely office/library with French doors, tray ceiling and custom wall to wall built in book cases and cabinets, a gourmet kitchen that is every chef's dream with five burner gas stove, built in convection wall oven, top of the line Stainless Steel appliances, granite countertops, sprawling center island with glass cabinets and plenty of seating.Ĭontinue down the hall past two guest bedrooms and a full 2nd bath to your own spacious primary suite that has a large walk-in closet and it's own private bath suite beautifully fitted with a large vanity and a walk-in shower. Taking the hardwood stairs to the second floor, you will find another generous master suite with additional full bath. ![]()
